Joy Shaw
Artist | Alchemist | Witness | Wayshower
My work is born from one guiding truth: We are human beings, not human doings — and conscious creation flows from beingness. When we remember who we are, embody it fully, and create from that place, life becomes a kind of living art.
Who I Am
I am a multifaceted, locationally-curious woman who lives at the intersection of creativity, consciousness, and embodied presence.
My path has woven through:
birthwork and supporting families through their most tender thresholds
recovering and rebuilding after a stroke
navigating identity, motherhood, grief, and reinvention
exploring holistic healing, nervous system repair, and expanded states of consciousness (entheogenic healing)
reawakening my artistry through music, writing, drawing, and movement
None of this was theoretical. It was lived. Every chapter stripped me down and rebuilt me into someone more present, more curious, more awake. My “work” is simply the natural expression of who I’ve become.
I don’t position myself as a healer anymore — though healing happens in the spaces I hold. I am an artist and guide whose medium and creative mastery is human experience. My only job is to be a present, loving witness and my role is to help you access the intelligence of your own life, reclaim your authenticity, and translate your inner truth into conscious creation. If my presence, voice, or work supports you in becoming the fullest expression of yourself, then I am doing exactly what I’m here to do.
My Philosophy: Living Art
Remember — your essence, your truth, the parts of you that have been buried beneath survival, identity, or expectation.
Embody — practice living from the inside out, attuning to what is true (authenticity) in real time.
Consciously Create — shape your life as an intentional expression of who you truly are.
This is the thread through everything I facilitate. It’s the thread through my own evolution. It’s the thread through the four pillars of my work.
The Four Pillars of My Work
1. Harmony — Supporting the Vessel of Creation
Before transformation, creativity, or expansion, the body must feel resourced.
I guide clients through holistic protocol design for mental and emotional wellbeing — conscious chemistry, nervous system repair, and personalized support that tunes the vessel so you can create from clarity rather than survival.
2. Authenticity — Remembering Who You Are
At the heart of conscious creation is the embodiment of the authentic self. Here I support people in excavating patterned identities, rewriting internal narratives, and reconnecting with the truth that lives beneath conditioning.
This includes 1 on 1 guidance, group work, community spaces, and practices that help you live congruently and with integrity.
3. Alchemy — Turning Expression Into Creation
This is where authentic expression becomes intentional action.
My 12-part coaching process is a toolbox for self-mastery, self -discovery, pattern disruption, and creative agency. It teaches you how to update your inner operating system and consciously shape your life.
4. Evolution — Deep Soul Work & Transformational Intensives
This is threshold work: immersive experiences, expanded states, and therapeutic journeys for those ready to face themselves fully. It is soul-level recalibration, guided with integrity, grounded presence, and reverence.
These four pillars are reflections of how I live — not theoretical frameworks but transmissions of lived wisdom.
How I Work
My approach is intuitive, relational, energetic and deeply grounded.
I don’t stand above you; I walk beside you. I don’t ask you to fix yourself; I invite you to love yourself and support you in remembering yourself.
I combine:
embodiment practices
conscious attention
pattern recognition & disruption
shadow work
creativity
presence
nervous system attunement
expanded-state integration
This work is process-driven rather than goal or objective driven.
Every session, journey, or container becomes a threshold — a place where presence meets possibility.
Why This Work Matters
Most people live fragmented lives, disconnected from their own intelligence. They navigate from fear, survival, or old identity patterns rather than from internal truth.
My work is about returning home and learning to trust yourself. It is about inhabiting your body again as you allow your life — relationships, creativity, decisions, inner world — to become a reflection of who you actually are.
It is less about becoming more and more about remembering what has always been yours. It is soul work that ripples into art, leadership, love, and legacy.
Personal Threads
I draw inspiration from nature, travel, and the initiatory thresholds life inevitably presents when you explore the edges of your comfort zone
My life is both laboratory and canvas — everything I teach is something I live.
Creativity is my compass, presence is my practice., play is essential, and authenticity is my north star.
I am continuously evolving, and my work evolves with me.
At the Center of It All
Nearly four years ago, I started climbing. I would watch these climbing documentaries late at night—mesmerized not by the danger, but by the devotion. There is nothing more inspiring than watching someone pursue the highest expression of themselves. When we witness authenticity in motion, something in us remembers our own potential. That realization changed my work forever.
I understood that integrity with my own process is not just personal—it is leadership. If I live honestly, courageously, and creatively, I become a mirror. Anything someone admires in me is already alive within them—or they wouldn’t recognize it. I’m not doing anything to people or for people. I’m simply living my life as authentic expression and allowing resonance to do its work to inspire you to remember yourself, embody your truth, and consciously create the world you want to live in - to be living art…
As Ram Dass said, “We are all just walking each other home.”
